In this week of Post-Digital Writing, students in were given the task of inventing a production (fantastic or mundane) that would be of great use to writers. The students approached the topic in a myriad of ways focusing on their brand and how they could craft an appealing products. Posters, mock-interviews, advert scripts, manifestos and brochures were all forms they considered to produce their work. Introducing, the DIGI-JOURNAL.

It’s very simple, the DIJI-JOURNAL is a normal writers’ journal with a twist: on the spine of the journal is a USB port which allows for writing to be scanned onto your computer and formatted in any way chosen. If pencil was used in the journal, the customer can choose to change it into pen or have it typed out, making it easy to read and accessible for all.

Diji-Journal has stated that this product is eco-friendly and made ethically to keep the customer’s peace of mind when buying this product. As long-time champions of climate preservation, Diji-Journal is emphasising the re-usability of the DIJI-JOURNAL, and durability of the journal to ensure this product can be used for a long time.

The intent of the DIJI-JOURNAL is to make the storing of ideas and longer writing easier for the writer, keeping a piece of work in several places make it harder to accidentally lose important documents. These collaborations will be limited edition, so customers are advised to purchase quickly for collections.
