Rot

 

bear said he’d fix the rot
clotting the bottles
that clot the rot

days on days
ticket  ticket  ticket
sits amongst the rot

bear, in his chair
bears witness to decay
his mind moved bottles

‘when will you fix the rot’
bear nods and smiles, says
he’s a sucker for controlled rot

bear said he’d fix the rot
clotting the bottles
that clot the rot
