Writing Home: Falmouth Hosts Inaugural Debate/Create Event

This week Falmouth hosted the inaugural Debate | Create workshop day on the theme of Homelessness and the Refugee Crisis. Pupils from local schools were invited into the University to consider social, economic and politic issues around these issues and then to produce creative work in response.

Here is some of the work from the English and Writing session entitled Writing Home. In this workshop, lead by Falmouth lecturers Kym Martindale and David Devanny, pupils were asked to imagine they had to leave their homes and consider what possessions they would take with them and what they would leave behind.

Featuring work from Alfie Baker, Robert Bond, Henry Coombs, Isabella Donovan, Thomas Oates, Kerensa Riley and Emily St Pier
