Steren – Entry Eight
Mothership.
After so many failed attempts to find a new planet, it seems that we may finally leave the purgatory of space and start our new life on ‘Earth’.
It was a highly intelligent idea for us to infiltrate the large flotation device.
Once we have more understanding of the ‘humans’ (the dominant life form) we can finally become host to all of their bodies.
We have been able to study their life form without further detection. I am pleased to report no casualties on our part. There have been successful incidences of human assimilation so far – including the Captain and Subject Sloane, who is currently in metamorphosis.
The planet will be good for our kind. Technology is limited but there are many resources for us to develop. The humans appear to be receptive to our hostage; their brains are quite simple to manipulate. Reptilia Minimus discovered that the humans are most horrified by our presence, and with enough exposure to our touch and physical appearance, their own psyche ‘breaks’. At this point we may become host to their minds and bodies. Reptilia Media is working on a method to perform this process more quickly for a more efficient infiltration of Earth. There is the potential for us to take over the planet completely undetected.
This discovery has been most exciting for myself and my fellow Reptilia.
Expect the next note you receive from ‘Earth’ to be a welcome home letter!

I translated this note I stole from the captain’s desk. It’s taken me nearly 6 weeks. I have managed to stay hidden from the lizards, but it won’t be long before they find me. I hope this note finds you soon. It’ll be too late for me, but hopefully not too late for the human race.
