‘Hi, it’s great to see you here and I’m so excited about the Anima Reveleum* that Pantalaimon and I have created just for you. I guess if you’re here you know all about daemons, but if you’re new to the concept I’ll give you a quick overview. I live in an alternate world that for the most part looks exactly like yours, but there are a few little differences, the main one is that our souls are also our companions in life. Our souls manifest as living, real and imaginary. They think like us, have equal intelligence to humans and they are capable of speech. While they are independent, daemons cannot travel far from their human without causing immense pain and suffering for both. There are a few exceptions to this, but I don’t want to spoil my story by telling you, so I’ll leave that for you to find out. When we’re children our daemons shapeshift as they work out their most comfortable form and as we mature that form eventually becomes permanent. We’ve been working for some time on developing the Anima Reveleum* and are excited that you will be able to now meet your daemon.’
