Sharing a Pond

A collection of four miniature poems

By Trevor Lockie

#13

The night, held captive

by a moons blush at dawn,

is confirmed on a pond.

#6
Herons closely watch,

as ripples knit dawns light

into a new pond.

#7

 Raiding dragonflies

dressed in best armour and silks;

skirt the hissing reeds.

#10

Rain, stitches a pond

to a shore of weeping trees,

fizzing in a mist.
