You Are Invited to our Sant Jordi Roses and BookSwap
Join us on Wednesday 3rd April at The Lighthouse, Tannachie House, Woodlane Campus, 2:00 pm
We are delighted to invite you to our Sant Jordi: Roses and BookSwap inspired by the Catalonian tradition of celebrating Saint George as their patron saint and literature by exchanging roses and books among loved ones. Considered by some as International Book Day, Sant Jordi takes places on April 23rd – when we are off for Easter. This year we are celebrating it early to honour and experience it.
How to take part in our Saint Jordi: Rose and BookSwap
Bring a book with a note of what it means to you and prepare to exchange it with other book lovers in The Lighthouse from 2pm onward. There you will also be able to learn more about this tradition and what it means to the people of Catalunya.
