Max Colbourne

I’m Maxwell, a 20 year old poet and writer, in my second year of studying English and Creative Writing. I am a transgender man, and you will most likely find me running events with the FXU Pride Society, or reciting LGBT themed poetry at a Word Zoo event – a Falmouth-based poetry collective I co-organise. I am a huge advocate for the transgender community. I have a typewriter named Olive, and love playing my guitar and listening to music. Two of my favourite writers are Oscar Wilde and Walt Whitman. My writing spans many areas – the personal, political, academic and creative.
